Hair Transplant in Beverly Hills

Hair restoration in Beverly Hills

Scalp, hairline, and beard grafting for gender-affirming faces. Density where it changes how you are read, planned with your surgical dates.

The approach

Grafting that serves a surgical face

Hair transplant in this practice is not a standalone mill. We graft hairlines and temples after or with FFS, fill a scalp-advancement scar when it needs it, and build beard density for patients in a masculinizing plan. Donor supply is finite. We spend it where it changes the face, not where a catalogue photo looks busy.

Timing matters. Grafts need a stable bed. Doing a dense pack into a forehead that will be opened for bone work next month is wasted biology. We sequence transplant with hairline lowering, forehead contouring, and facial masculinization.

Coverage varies more here than for core FFS. Some plans treat medically necessary hair restoration as gender-affirming; others do not. We will tell you what your authorization is likely to include and quote self-pay for the rest. Financing: /insurance/financing/.

What to expect

What to expect.

01

Density mapping

Where you want hair, what the donor can give, and what surgery nearby will do to the skin.

02

Scheduling against FFS or FMS

Grafts after bony work, or in a gap that will not be reopened. Written, not guessed.

03

Procedure day and growth timeline

You leave knowing when shed is expected, when growth starts, and when we judge the result (months, not weeks).

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

When should I transplant relative to FFS?

Usually after the forehead and hairline have settled, unless we are grafting a region that will not be operated. Your facial plan decides this, not a generic six-month rule.

Can beard grafts be done with jaw implants?

Not on the same day in most cases. Implants and swelling change the bed. We stage.

Does insurance cover gender-affirming hair transplant?

Sometimes, when documented as part of medically necessary facial gender affirmation. Many patients have a mixed authorization. We quote the uncovered portion clearly.
